Magnetic Rope Testing

At Inspectec, we use advanced Magnetic Rope Testing (MRT) technology to carry out non-destructive internal examinations of wire ropes — revealing what a visual inspection simply cannot. By measuring changes in the magnetic flux of the rope, our equipment detects internal broken wires, corrosion, loss of metallic area, and structural deterioration hidden deep within the core. This gives our clients a genuinely accurate picture of their rope’s condition, rather than an assumption based on outward appearance alone.
